Hello,

The reason you are unable to make use of the Standard Odoo Mail Server is because you currently have an outgoing email server setup on your database. I recommend archiving the server or deleting it if you never intend to use it. Which you can do by

1.) Enter Developer Mode
2.) Settings > Technical > Email > Outgoing Server
3.) Select the Server > Gear Action Button > Archive

This should allow you to use the standard odoo mail server solely.
