Hello,
I’m Lina, 19 years old from Germany. In the last year I already travelled and worked in Costa Rica and Panama. There I enjoyed experiencing new cultures and started learning Spanish.
The Workaway description sounds great to me and I’m interested to join your team.
I would like to experience the work at the cocoa farm. I don’t mind working hard and getting my hands dirty. I always give my best to support as much as I can and I’m open minded and willing to give a hand where it’s needed.
Your other project sounds equally interesting.
Helping in the school with the kids is interesting to me, but as I’m not a native speaker in English, I don’t see myself teaching English for a longer period, but I could help out some time.
I really enjoy doing sports, especially acrobatics so I could offer to do some classes with the kids (combined with gymnastics).
I have my camera with me and like to take pictures, so I could help with creating pictures for social media!
For you to know: I don’t have any connections and knowledge in the medical field, so I think I couldn’t be helpful there.
For me this workaway seems great as I’m looking for an opportunity to experience true Guatemalan culture and practice my Spanish!
As mentioned I already speak some Spanish but I’m still something between beginner and intermediate.
I fly over to Guatemala on the 5th of November and have Spanish classes at lake Atitlán until the 28th of November and could join your team after.
I would like to stay over the period of Christmas.
How long do you require for a stay?
